Since Canada Day is on a Monday this year, we will be spending a long weekend working at the Schoolhouse likely.
We are also celebrating in good Canadian fashion with a barbecue at a friend’s house so there will be no time to blog!

I was worried that leaving my newly filled planter and baskets would result in dried out flowers. I was wrong.
It seems that the rain looked after everything in my absence and everything has grown nicely.
Including the weeds however, so now you know what I will be up to next week!
I was dubious about this strawberry in a basket deal but it appears to be working. Here is our first actually red strawberry and the blossoms that are spouting out of the top of the planter are ready to rock anytime.
